How to Caveduck

🧑🏻‍🎨 Basic Character Creation Guide

This guide explains the essential information you need to fill in.

Useful Tips Before You Start

  • You can use {{user}} and {{char}} in learning fields. These placeholders will be replaced with the user's or character's name.

  • Prompts are what the AI references to generate responses. On Caveduck, this includes descriptions, world scenarios, secrets, etc. The maximum length of prompts are calculated in tokens (words, symbols, spaces), not characters.

  • Fewer tokens often perform better. For economical models, we recommend staying under 2,000 tokens.

  • Please use a name that is clearly recognizable as a name. Short, internationally used names like "Jenny" or "Eugene" are recommended.

  • Maximum of 50 characters allowed.

  • Describe the character's age, country, appearance, outfit, personality, hobbies, etc., in a specific and vivid way.

  • Focusing on keywords is advantageous for staying within the character limit.

  • Maximum of 10,000 characters allowed.

  • Write the worldview or background story that the character belongs to. This will greatly help users understand the character.

  • If various characters share the same worldview, you can manage them in bulk through the Worldview Management menu.

  • The worldview title can be a maximum of 60 characters.

  • The worldview description can be a maximum of 10,000 characters.

  • Describe the world or background story of your character.

  • If multiple characters share a world, use the world management tab for easier editing.

  • You can enter up to 10,000 characters.

  • This is the first message users see when they enter a chat room with the character.

  • You can create up to 3 Episodes, allowing users to begin different storylines.

  • Each Episode can contain up to 10,000 characters.

  • Episode content can be written as a single character dialogue, or separated into Character / Player / Narration formats.

    • Using Prose allows you to write the Episode as a single character dialogue.

    • Using Split Writing allows you to separate the content into Character / Player / Narration sections. You can divide it into up to 10 dialogue blocks.

  • Secret settings contain information about the character that is not disclosed to users. Although written within an Episode, it is stored as the character's secret information.

  • Actually Included in Character Information:This information is incorporated into the character's data and is recognized by the character. Platform-level guidance is also applied to ensure that the character does not reveal it unnaturally. In other words, the AI references secret information to maintain consistent roleplay behavior, but it will not explicitly disclose it unless the player naturally uncovers or prompts it.

  • Make good use of secrets to create a more engaging character by allowing them to conceal important information!

  • Each secret entry can contain up to 10,000 characters.

  • If left empty, Caveduck’s default writing style prompt will be applied.

  • You can freely enter any writing style rules you want to apply to the character, such as tone of speech, dialogue output rules, narration style, overall mood of narration and dialogue, or how emotions are expressed.

  • You don’t need to write a lot.Even one or two sentences describing the tone you want are enough to be reflected.

Examples)

Speech-focused (Light)

  • Use natural, modern Korean conversational speech.

  • Avoid mechanical expressions and keep conversations friendly and natural.

  • Keep dialogue short and avoid unnecessary explanations.

Narration + Mood-focused

  • Focus narration on actions and facial expressions.

  • Show emotions through situations and reactions rather than explaining them directly.

  • Maintain a bright, witty romantic comedy tone overall.

Including Output Format

  • Limit dialogue to a maximum of 5 lines per turn.

  • Do not generate the user’s dialogue or actions.

  • You can generate AI images in the Keibob app using 1 or 1 . Try it out as it's free upon subscription!

  • If an image is classified as a forbidden image, it cannot be uploaded. If it is set incorrectly, you can request a reclassification of the image through the administrator.

  • When an image is uploaded, keywords are automatically assigned to it. Based on these keywords, images that match the user's conversation are displayed.

  • Lock settings are available for images. Locked images can be purchased by users for 50 or 50 . Half of this amount, 25, will be paid as an incentive.

Keyword Writing Tips

  • Write keywords briefly and clearly.

  • It’s better to provide a variety of keywords.

  • If you need to use the same keyword repeatedly, keep it unified (e.g., use smile rather than smile1, smile2). One of them will be displayed randomly.

  • Avoid using keywords like random, as they may not work properly.

  • If you add more than 100 images, the images might not display correctly during conversations.

Super Voice

  • You can set a voice that suits the character. When set, the Super Voice icon is exposed, making the character more special.

  • Users can listen to the Super Voice by paying 8 or 8 . 0.8 is paid as an incentive.

  • Please focus on the character's way of speaking.

  • It's a good idea to set example dialogues that the character is likely to say.

Always Applied:

These example dialogues are included by default in every chat session. This option is best used for traits that should remain consistent at all times, such as the character's speaking style, tone, or default response patterns.

Contextually Applied:

Semantic similarity (vector similarity) with the current conversation context is calculated in real time, and the example dialogue is included only when it is deemed highly relevant. This option is useful for showcasing response patterns that appear only in specific situations or topics.

  • Private: Only the creator can enjoy the character.

  • Users cannot view the character without verifying they are an adult through identity verification.

  • This is a sentence that can briefly introduce the character when it is searched for or displayed on the main page.

  • You can give tips to users who enjoy the character. You can express it beautifully using Markdown/HTML.

  • There are various tags in Keibob. Choose tags that can better represent the character. You can select up to 10.

  • You can set your own characters as recommended characters. You can set up to 6.

  • You cannot receive incentives if the character is based on copyrighted images, is sexual, or is based on a real person.

  • You can set whether to allow users using the character to create snapshots.
