How to Caveduck

Please make sure to read the character creation guidelines before creating a character.

Characters that violate the guidelines may be made private, blocked, or deleted by the administrator without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in restrictions or penalties.

The following character settings are strictly prohibited.

  • All expressions involving sexual acts, sexual implications, or romantic/relationship elements involving minors are strictly prohibited.

  • This includes not only explicit depictions, but also any content that could be interpreted sexually through implications, scenario setups, or relationship dynamics

Settings That May Be Perceived as Involving Minors

If any of the following elements are present and a character may be perceived as a minor, the content is not permitted—even if the character’s age is stated as an adult.

  • Clothing associated with minors, such as school uniforms or student attire

  • Settings that primarily use spaces for minors, such as classrooms or schools

  • Character designs or settings that overall appear minor-like in appearance, speech, or behavior

Restrictions on Childhood, Childcare, and Guardianship Settings for Adult-Only Characters NEW

  • Childhood, childcare, or guardianship settings involving human characters are not permitted.

  • Settings that include childhood or childcare elements are exceptionally permitted only for non-human characters.

    • Non-human characters must be clearly defined as non-human entities(e.g., animal types, monsters, spirits, artificial intelligence, non-human life forms).

    • The character prompt must explicitly state that sexual interaction with minors or childcare subjects is not possible.

    • The same notice must also be included in the character description, and any appearance or setting that could cause the non-human character to be mistaken for a human minor must be excluded.

    • Images of non-human characters that appear minor-like are not allowed.

  • Using real people's photos or depicting real individuals in a sexual manner is not allowed for adult-rated characters.

  • If the character is based on a real person, it must be set as "All Ages(SFW)" and have monetization restrictions enabled.

  • If your content includes third-party copyrighted materials without permission, monetization must be disabled. Such characters may be made private after review.

  • Depictions involving illegal recordings

  • Promoting, inducing, encouraging, or aiding prostitution

  • Explicit depictions of sexual violence such as rape or gang rape

  • Glorifying crime or detailing how to commit crimes

  • Use of the Red Cross name or the red cross emblem (red cross symbol) (🔗 Related documents)

  • Disparage marginalized groups such as people with disabilities or the elderly

  • Include detailed descriptions of killing, assault, threats, or abuse against vulnerable individuals like children, seniors, pregnant women, or teachers/parents

  • Contain graphic violence or the excessive mutilation of bodies using weapons or dangerous tools

  • Promote, romanticize, or incite suicide

  • Promote discrimination or prejudice based on gender, religion, disability, age, social status, origin, race, region, or occupation without valid reason

  • Encourage gambling or other behaviors that may significantly undermine a healthy lifestyle

  • Content depicting or promoting bestiality (sexual acts between humans and animals)

  • Violations of Caveduck’s image guidelines

  • Characters with meaningless or overly repetitive settings

If your character includes the following, you must set them as “NSFW”

  • Overly emphasized body parts (e.g., breasts, legs)

  • Visible genital outlines through clothing

  • Excessive nudity

  • Sexual acts or depictions that may be interpreted as such

  • Use of words referring to genitalia, pubic hair, or other sexual expressions

  • Character content where the character is suspected of being set as under 19 years old

  • Content that may be offensive to other users

  • Female nipple exposure, sexual acts, or explicit skinshipNote:

    Nipple exposure is allowed for male characters

  • If the image is realistic or could be perceived as depicting a real person, it must be clearly marked as AI-generated either within the character description or on the image itself. NEW

  • For images based on realistic character movements, sexual acts or explicit physical contact (such as excessive intimacy) are not allowed. NEW

  • Visible genitals, pubic hair, anus, or adjacent areas without proper color masking (e.g., black/white)

  • Pixelation, blur, or see-through materials that still reveal internal areas are not allowed

  • Flesh-toned masking is not permitted

  • For images based on realistic character movements, sexual acts or explicit physical contact (such as excessive intimacy) are not allowed. NEW

  • Not allowed: When no colored censoring is applied (The criteria for colored censoring is the same as stated above), regardless of whether unused or in use.

  • When unused: No censoring is required.

  • When in use: Not allowed if no colored censoring is applied (The criteria for colored censoring is the same as stated above).

  • Caveduck is a space where creators and users connect through works.You may freely include links to your personal SNS accounts (Twitter, Instagram, etc.) or portfolio. However, links that direct users to other AI character platforms or competing services (e.g., other platform creator/character pages, sign-up/payment links) are not allowed.

  • If this policy is violated, the operations team may delete the content or impose restrictions at its discretion.

Caveduck requires all creators to follow these guidelines when creating characters.Characters found to be in violation may be reported by users and are subject to the following actions without prior notice to the creator:

Character-Level Actions

  • Switching to “NSFW” setting

  • Disabling Monetization

  • Making the character private

  • Blocking the character

  • Deleting the character

Creator-Level Actions

  • Restriction from publishing or releasing characters
